ORANGE STARFLOWER (ornithogalum dubium)
  

Your plant is O. dubium, a native of South Africa, with 8-12 inch tall stems and clusters of bright orange or yellow flowers. Leaves are lance-shaped. It is a bulb plant and does best in full sun but will tolerate partial shade. Water during growth and bloom cycles but discontinue when foliage yellows and dies back. Do not allow plant to sit in water. Please note: all parts are poisonous if ingested.
