MEXICAN EVENING PRIMROSE (oenothera speciosa) |
This appears to be a Mexican evening primrose. Grows about 1 ft. tall and 3 ft. wide, with summer and fall flowers. An herbaceous perennial from the Southwestern U.S. and Mexico. Needs full sun and moderate water. Can become invasive if not kept under control, but very lovely.
Our apologies, but we looked at all the advisors' folders and yours was not among them. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know because we pride ourselves in answering if possible within 24 hours, unless the identification requires more research. Because you followed up, we will have our web designer take a look to see if there might be a technical problem that occurred. If you disagree with our identification, please take another photo showing more of the foliage and we will try again for you, but from the flower shown, it looks like an evening primrose. Again we are sorry that you did not get your answer, but glad you let us know!
